Warning for poor pupils

The President of the Ministers of Finance for the euro zone, Jean-Claude Juncker, has announced his wish to reinforce the piloting of economic policies: “The Eurogroup should pursue broader economic surveillance, both to identify individual priority issues for each of our member states and to establish a coherent framework for action to enhance the performance of the entire euro zone economy.” The Prime Minister of Luxembourg also wishes to encourage the European Commission to address “warnings” to poor pupils whose economic policies do not conform with the general directions defined for the euro zone or else endanger the sound functioning of the economic and monetary union.
