ICT: Canada’s future

In a report published on 22 June, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce alerted the government of the importance of treating information and communications technology (ICT) as a pillar of Canada’s future economic success. One of the key recommendations of this report is to create a national strategy geared towards ICT. “Without proper investment and dedication to ICT, innovation and protecting intellectual property rights, Canada’s productivity will be limited and other nations will continue to surpass us as
a destination for both domestic and international business investment,” warns the Chamber.
