Enough of Football Inc!

Don’t kill the goose that laid the golden egg – here’s a proverb that football’s officiating bodies, federations, leagues and clubs might care to dwell upon. In a context of financial crisis that has only partially affected its activities, football is now in need of economic regulation more than ever before. Solutions exist, but must not fall into free-market or utopian excesses.  By placing the game back at the heart of the debate, football’s financial sphere may truly get its health back. Here are some explanations.
