At the age of 43 years, Myriam Maestroni is Managing Director of Primagaz France. Don’t trust appearances: this attractive blonde is no novice. After graduating from ESC Bordeaux business school, when she was just 24 years old she ascended to head position of an independent petrol product company that was setting up in Spain. It was in 1996 that she joined Primagaz as Managing Director of the company in Spain. Seven years later, she was appointed Sales and Marketing Director of Primagaz France. And in June 2005, she became the company’s Managing Director. Her secret for success: staying passionate about her profession, keeping motivation alive, looking after the wellbeing of her employees, and attempting to “change the world a little.” Through her experience in the very masculine milieu of energy, she is conscious of the impact of female sensibility that is gradually making itself felt. At the head of 1,000 persons, she cannot conceive of a society without parity. For the combination of male and female approaches is always beneficial and motivating for business development.
