Splendour

Be they discreet or imperious, luxury hotels – located in the hearts of large metropolises worldwide – have an air of splendour to ease troubled minds.

Prestigious Warsaw
Opened in 2004, the Mamaison Le Régina boutique-hotel is now one of the most prestigious spots in Poland. The 4-star establishment in the heart of Warsaw’s old city only has two conference rooms, but it manages to appeal with the vaulting charm of this former palace, destroyed during World War II, and rebuilt in 1953 – something of a mix between a monastery and a hunting lodge. The massive wood, the vanilla, chocolate and chestnut tones contribute toward a serene atmosphere. The bathrooms take up a large part of each room, and the mixture of materials, such as sandstone, Italian mosaic and wood, turn them into warm spaces. This rustic atmosphere fades away in the Penthouse suite, in which bloated chairs make for a futuristic air.

Glitter in Mayfair, London
The May Fair London, opened in 1927 by King George V, was entirely renovated in 2006. Near Hyde Park, Piccadilly Circus and Buckingham Palace, the bar of this 5-star houses some of the biggest evenings of the London Fashion Week. Shiny leather, glistening golden and orange velvet – you won’t grow tired of the design. Bang & Olufsen digital systems and ergonomic offices reinforce the feeling of well being in the rooms, equiped with Sicilian marble bathrooms. Men can be pampered in the Buddhist-inspired spa, with massage specially designed for them. From the glamorous Crystal Room to the Art deco Danziger Suite and the 11 meeting halls, the same atmosphere of splendour and luxury reigns supreme.

Golf in Belek, Turkish riviera
Between the Mediterranean sea and the Taurus mountains, the Kempinski Hotel The Dome stands a few minutes from Antalya, in Belek, in the southwest of Turkey. This coast, known as the Turkish Riviera, is known for its long, sandy beaches full. The Ottoman architecture of this 5-star hotel, with its pilasters and columns, goes wonderfully with the resolutely modern rooms, many of which are equipped with a balcony. The spa is also appealing, with its authentic Turkish hammam, a flower bath and a large pool. This hotel is famous in the world of professional golf for its 2 exceptions courses (9 and 27 holes), used for important global tournaments. With pomegranates, figs, dates and honey-drenched pastries…
